The components to build an OptiHeat are:  

• A hot water tank
• 300L  500L  1 000L  2 000L
• 1 to 3 exchangers
• 1 to 3 circulators

Optional: a copper kit for system connection and a heating resistance when additional heat is needed.
The electrical energy expended during the cooling of the milk is recovered in the hot water tank:

• From 15 degrees to 50 degrees, 100% of the electrical energy is recovered.
• From 56 degrees to 70 degrees, 50% of the electrical energy is recovered.

Associated with a PHE plate pre-cooler, the electrical energy consumption linked to the refrigeration unit is reduced by 40% (since the milk was cooled from 23° to 4° instead of 35° to 4°). Moreover, this system allows the well-being of the farm animals (warm water to drink for the cows, especially in winter).
