Japy Tech Milk Silo

The SICool proposed by JAPY TECH is composed of three main parts:

• The cooling tank, with aluminium or stainless-steel jacket (optional)
• The cooling equipment
• The ICool control and washing unit  

14 models have been developed (from 8.000L to 40.000L), available in 2 different diameters (2.250mm and 3.000mm). The SICool is equipped with refrigeration units ranging from 8 to 50 kW. A JAPY TECH modular instant cooling system can be added for high flow milking parlours. All equipments comply with European Directives (CE) and are compatible with both conventional and automated milking.

The 2250 diameter SICools are particularly suitable for maritime transport: Shipping in standard 40’ High Cube containers.

QUALITY INSULATION
Made of stainless steel 304, the JAPY TECH SICool has a polyurethane insulation which limits the increase of the milk conservation temperature to 0,5°C in 12 hours, the EN 13732 standard tolerating an increase of 3°C. Our system avoids restarting the refrigeration units between milkings.

A STATE-OF-THE-ART EVAPORATOR FOR HIGH QUALITY COOLING
The JAPY TECH SICool offers an economical cooling capacity. An energy recovery system is available as an option for heating domestic water and allows energy savings of up to 50% (tested and approved by an independent laboratory (Pôle Cristal).

A DIGITAL CONTROL SYSTEM
The security of the cooling is guaranteed thanks to 3 levels of management:

• Directly by the controller
• By a SOS safety thermostat
• By an autonomous backup mode

The temperature of the milk is analysed by the ICool to avoid freezing the milk (JAPY TECH patent).

The pressure sensor measures the level of milk in the silo and optimizes the management of the cooling units.

The wash cycle program is designed to operate without heaters. These remain optional.

The ICool interface (HMI) is materialized by a colour touch screen.

A UNIQUE WASHING SYSTEM

The ICool allows an optimal washing thanks to a dedicated AED (Dynamic Water Inlet) water filling circuit and a combination of water circulation by mechanical action thanks to a rotating diffuser independent from the agitation.

This ensures the 5 washing phases: AED* pre-rinse, pre-wash, wash, 2 successive rinses, AED* post-rinse. (*Dynamic Water Intake)

The integrated washing system allows to reach your quality objectives and to meet the expectations  of your dairy (validated by the LIAL_Laboratoire Interprofessionnel d’Analyses Laitières).

A FLEXIBLE STIRRING SYSTEM

The JAPY SICool is equipped with a patented agitation system which is very easy to maintain.

• No radial load on the lower bearing
• Low friction on the bearing
