It is a legal requirement for all farmers to ensure any part of their underground slurry stores have a lifespan of 20 years free from any maintenance.
The installation of a HDPE liner ensures there is no seepage into the land, which can lead to contamination of the local environment. Our geomembrane liners create a strong water tight barrier against both solids and liquids to keep wastage secure and contained at all times.
HOW WE INSTALL HDPE SLURRY PIT LINERS
Our installation process follows five simple steps:
You will arrange to excavate the slurry lagoon to meet the specifics of your plans.
IGMM Jones install an underlay which protects the geomembrane lining from being pierced by sharp rocks, extending the life of the material.
We then lay your chosen 2mm layer into position in the slurry pit.
An optional protective polyethylene floating cover can be created, if required for the site.
Our team thoroughly test the joins and welds to ensure their quality.
BENEFITS OF INSTALLING HDPE SLURRY LINERS
Our high density polyethylene plastic liners offer a number of benefits once installed. These include:
An eco-friendly method of containing animal wastage
Created to withstand extreme temperatures
Designed with materials that provide high puncture resistance
Each liner features welded seams, high yield and is non-permeable
High levels of protection against UV rays, chemicals and harsh natural conditions
