What does your job entail?
My job is very varied, from dealing with all HR duties, Health and Safety duties, Marketing Manager to ensuring Customs paperwork is correct for products coming in, and assisting with sales at Lochwinnoch office
Favourite part of the job?
The variety of it, there is never 2 days the same. Always learning something new.
Highlight of your job so far?
Taking part in the Scottish Enterprise Rural Leadership programme attaining my level 4 accreditation in Customs and Excise.
Funniest moment at work?
Not so much funny more sweet, have very happy memories of when Jim Hunter used to come to Lochwinnoch Office and while he ate his lunch in the office he would have one or more of my children on his knee and tell them a story, they were lovely memories but also gave me peace to get on with more work.
What are your interests outside of work?
I enjoy walking my dogs, cycling, but mostly in supporting my children to further their interests in hobbies and sports. I am currently training for the Loch Ness Marathon on the 2nd October.
Interesting fact about you
I was invited to Highgrove House for a tour around the estate and lunch with the then Prince Charles now King Charles III. I am National Chairman of the Scottish Association of Young Farmers Clubs.
